Mars More Protein bar will have 40% less sugar and the Snickers More Protein bar will have 30% less sugar than standard bars.
The company said consumers are increasingly looking for products that match their busy lifestyles, and the new launches will give consumers even more choice.
David Manzini, general manager of Mars Wrigley Confectionery UK, said: “Protein remains a hot consumer trend and the category continues to grow every year.
“These exciting new innovations give retailers a great opportunity to boost those all-important impulse purchases, by offering consumers the great taste of Mars and Snickers with added protein and less sugar than a standard bar.”
